Preston,

Parcel 56-40.4 was designated in 1993. Although that parcel had been subdivided in 1989, the City Assessor's office kept the Parcels combined as parcel 40.4. because they had the same owner. Even if you look at the current tax map, parcel 40.4 stretches to the RR.

Whether City Council will agree to remove any of the designation is a separate issue.

I'd like to get the application in order so you can proceed. With Jim Herndon we can outline on a tax map where the historic designation exists and where you would like to remove it.

Thank you.

No problem with it not being on January agenda

1 will need to see some documentation as to when both 56-40.4 and especially 56-109 were designated as being protected so 1 can figure out how to proceed.

Is that something you can provide or should I go through some formal request? 1 have no problem with meeting with Jim Hemdon so that he can walk me through the entire time line.

To me the whole issue centers around when the former owner subdivided.

It is surprising to me that if 56-109 is protected why we were able to construct the self storage. One portion of 56-109 was transferred to Woolen Mills Self Storage LLC in 2000 (?) and phase one was done.
In 2005 another portion was transferred and phase two done.

If 1 can be satisfied as to the correctness of Jim's determination I will go forward with an application to de list the portions other than 56-40.4

It's all a mystery to me
